DESIGN MS 230 is a compact unit for installation in el-motor starter cabinet. |

A motor can be remote controlled via MS230 (See connection diagram). A remote unit cannot operate if the local MS 230 is at LOCAL MODE. However the status of all indicators are shown on the remote unit. |
OPERATION / FUNCTIONS |

Select the operation modus, either LOCAL or REMOTE |

Press the START button MS230 will activate the main contactor (K1). Auxiliary contact feedback from K1 will indicate that the motor is running |

To stop the motor press the STOP/RESET button |

The motor will trip by any of the following signals: Motor protection, earth fault and emergency stop. Reset trip by pressing the STOP/RESET button |

Pressing the HEATER ON button activates the motor standstill heater. The standstill heater will be automatically switched off when the motor is restarted |

Trip cased motor to stop can be reset by pressing the STOP/RESET button |

SAFETY MS 230 is fitted with various protection devices against incorrect electrical connection and electric disturbance. CE tested according to EN 50 082-1; EN50 081-1 |
| INSTALLATION MS230 is delivered with pre-wired and marked cables, length 1,0m. Connection of 7 to 12 wires in one end is what is needed to complete an el-motor control circuit. MS 230 fits all sizes of el-motors. It can also be used with, for example, an el-motor soft drive. |
