| FUNCTIONS DS 12-24 is a compact unit for installation in a diesel engine control
cabinet. |

Start the diesel engine by pressing the “start” button located on the front panel. The output relay K1 will activate the start motor/start solenoid. The oil pressure alarm is blocked for about 10 sec. after the firing speed/running signal is obtained. The “start” button is blocked while the diesel engine is running |

Stop the diesel engine by pressing the “stop” button located on the front panel. The output relay K2 will activate the stop solenoid. The stop signal remains active for 30 sec. after the diesel engine running signal is deactivated |

During diesel engine stop a standstill heater or priming can be connected to the output from relay K3. K3 will automatically be activated 15 minutes after the diesel engine has come to a complete stop. K3 will be automatically de-energized upon a restart |

Status indications Running, control voltage ok, oil pressure, overspeed, cooling-water temperature, fault (free alarm input) and selected local/remote mode. Buttons for operation Start, stop, local and remote (DS12-24) Start and stop (DSR12-24) Input signals from the diesel engine Running, oil pressure, cooling water temperature, overspeed, emergency stop and trip (free input). Output signals to diesel engine Start motor or start solenoid, stop solenoid, standstill heater and common alarm. |
| REMOTE CONTROL With DSR12-24 the diesel engine can be remote control and monitored. DSR has the same indication and operation as DS with the exception for Local/Remote buttons. |
| SAFETY DS and DSR are designed for operation in rough environments. DS and DSR are equipped with protection for wrong polarity connection. CE-tested in accordance with: EN 50 081-2; EN 50 082-2:; NEMKO -Oslo |
| INSTALLATION DS and DSR are delivered with 1,5 m pre-connected leads for quick and easy installation. Test, commissioning, start-up and documentation is simplified. DS and DSR can be used regardless of motor size. |
